KOOL PAK° takes top 2011 OTA safety honors and becomes an ODOT Trusted Carrier

Once again backing up our promise of leadership in worry-free, temperature-controlled LTL shipping, we're proud to announce we've become the Oregon Trucking Association's (OTA) Grand Safety Champion and have taken first place in their Fleet Safety Awards, Common Carrier Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)/Under 3 Million Miles.

This is the tenth time since 2002 KOOL PAK°'s excellent safety record has been recognized by the OTA. In 2011, we had zero Department of Transportation recordable accidents in Oregon, a perfect record.

At the same time, the Oregon Department of Transportation has named us a Trusted Carrier, placing us among the top 15% "best" carriers in Oregon participating in the state's Green Light weigh station clearance program. For customers, this means less highway scale stops and less risk of load delay during the transport segment of the cold chain, thereby ensuring greater load safety and faster delivery.

The two OTA awards and our new ODOT status are further proof that we're literally going the extra mile to ensure the safety and speedy delivery of our customers' product, as well as the safety of the public and our drivers while in transit.
