The employees of Kool Pak share several common characteristics, in that they are entirely from the industry, have a depth of experience, and are proven performers. From the administrative staff to the front line customer service managers, they have been chosen because they have proven track records and a history of success. Our staff has over 400 years of combined service in the transportation, warehousing, and food manufacturing business. We are grateful for the experience but impressed with their dedication to our corporate goal of exceeding every customer’s expectations.
The five-member team of our senior staff, with the exception of one, have all spent their entire careers working in the transportation and food industry. With over 150 years of combined experience they bring together backgrounds from Schneider, AmeriCold, United Parcel Service, Golden State Foods, Integrity Logistics, Ernst and Young, and Ness Holding Company. We are proud of the team we have assembled and the job they have done to position Kool Pak as a leader in refrigerated services.

Steven A. Ness
Steven Ness serves as President and chief
operating officer of Kool Pal LLC. He has held this
position since the purchase of the company in 1986. In
addition Steven Ness holds the position of president
and chief operating officer of Ness Holding Co. Inc,
which owns majority interest in Kool Pak LLC. Previously,
Steven Ness has served as sales manager, vice president
of sales, director, board member, chief operating officer,
and president and chief operating officer of various
companies owned by Ness Holding Company.
Ness Holding
Company has owned and operated businesses in the food
industry since 1939, in manufacturing, importing, brokering,
distributing, trucking, and warehousing.Steven Ness
graduated from the University of Oregon in 1969 with
a bachelor of business administration degree, and is
also a graduate degree from the OPM program at Harvard
University, in 1987.

Wade J. Palmer
Wade Palmer has served as Chief Financial Officer
(CFO) since Kool Pak LLC was created in July 2003.
Prior to July 2003, Palmer served as the CFO for Northwest
Refrigerated Services, the Parent company of Kool Pak
LLC. The CFO position is responsible for Accounting,
Administration, Regulatory, Legal, and Information
System functions.
Previously, Palmer was General Manager of Toyo Tanso
USA, Inc, a graphite manufacturer, for 11 years. He
served in various positions including corporate controller
and vice president of operations, U.S. operations.
Prior to Toyo Tanso USA, Palmer worked for Ernst
and Young.
Palmer received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting
and in Corporate Finance from the University of Idaho.

G Geary
G Geary serves as Senior Vice President, Operations for Kool Pak LLC after joining the company in February 2006. “G” has over 20 years experience in the public refrigerated warehousing (“PRW”) & transportation industry and previously held several executive-level positions in operations, logistics and key account management with AmeriCold Logistics, the world’s largest PRW company.
Prior to AmeriCold, Geary worked as a CPA at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in Portland, Oregon. Geary received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Pamela Dinsdale
Pam serves as Vice President of Sales for Kool Pak LLC.
Pam joined Kool Pak in May of 1996 as an Executive Assistant
and Administrative Manager and was promoted to sales
in July 2002. She was appointed her current position
in January of 2004.
Pam previously worked for Bob Ward Leasing Company in a
sales position and prior to that worked for a sister company
of Kool Pak LLC for 12 years as their Corporate Fleet Manager.

Jim Colgan
Jim Colgan serves at the Transcontinental Operations Manager for Kool Pak. Jim re-joined Kool Pak in March 2006 bringing 22 years of extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He had previously worked for Kool Pak as Vice President of Operations for 9 years. He is responsible for managing all trucks going from the West Coast to all states outside of the 7 Western states.
His background includes being Owner and President of Colgan Transportation, which he sold to Kool Pak in 1996. Jim served as Transportation Manager for DPI NW,+ Warehouse Manager for Columbia Distribution Company, and Operations Manager for Fisher Mills.
Colgan attended Oregon State University and Linnfield College from 1980 to 1983 with an emphasis on Business Administration.
