Kool Pak’s growth from a small regional carrier to an industry leading provider comes through continuous improvement and a dedication to superior client service.

At the outset, we served a primarily local customer base and offered refrigerated LTL service throughout the northwest. In 1987 Kool Pak was acquired by Ness Holding Company (NHC). NHC owns a majority interest in Kool Pak LLC, along with partners Wade Palmer, Chief Financial Officer and G Geary, Senior Vice President Operations.

Building on plans to expand our geographic reach, add more capacity and offer additional services, NHC purchased a regional refrigerated truckload carrier to merge with Kool Pak in 1994.

Today Kool Pak has grown to over seventy power units providing superior service in four business segments. 

• Redistribution services throughout Oregon and Washington with a daily schedule to all major consignees.
• Regional over-the-road, less than truckload service, to and from California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon.
• Transcontinental, less than truckload service, to all forty-eight states and Canada.
• Logistics services, provided through Kool Pak Logistics, offering a full range of logistics services to Northwest based shippers.
