Driver Opportunities

Kool Pak is based in Portland, Oregon, with their main warehouse facility in Clackamas, Oregon, and a regional office in Kent, Washington. We are a refrigerated carrier providing LTL (less than truckload), truckload, and pool load services. Our primary focus is refrigerated LTL so we need truck drivers who are trained to manage mixed temperature freight and understand the proper use of bulkheads.

Mobile Communications & Connectivity

The Kool Pak fleet is comprised of new and/or late model Freightliner tractors. All equipment has satellite mobile communications and mobile connectivity.

National, Regional and Local Routes

Transcontinental. Solo and team truck drivers wanted for 48-state service. Drivers average 120,000 miles per year with three-to-five days off after each loop. Generally eastbound loads are multi stop with mixed temperature, with full loads returning to the west. LTL experience is preferred.

California and Western Regional. Solo drivers wanted for weekly loops to Southern and Northern California, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho, departing from the Northwest. Multi-stop and mixed temperature. LTL experience is preferred.

Local. Although we give preference to over-the-road drivers for local positions, we have need for additional drivers. We prefer drivers with an interest and willingness to also occasionally do some regional and transcontinental routes. Our main office is in Portland, Oregon with warehouses in Clackamas, Oregon and Kent, Washington. All local positions are based in these areas. Positions include local around-town deliveries, out-of-town deliveries that return the same day, overnight runs to Spokane, Washington, and shuttles moving trailers loads between Kent and Portland. Nights and weekends off.
